About Us

The Artisans Vault was born from a love of beautiful things made by hand, and a belief that the objects we live with should carry a little more meaning.

We bring together the Old, the Handmade and the Unexpected; antique and vintage finds, handcrafted objects, collectible home décor, furniture, and contemporary interpretations of India's rich craft traditions.

We are drawn to objects with a past: the patina of aged wood, faded paintings, time-worn textiles, curiosities that carry traces of another time.

We look for pieces with their own character, history and imperfections, ready for a new life and another story.

Alongside the old, we love things made by hand. Objects that bear the imprint of their maker, where material, process and time come together in ways mass production cannot replicate.

A Note From The Founder

Before The Artisans Vault, I spent over a decade in the luxury automotive world and had the privilege of living across four different countries.

Along the way, I found myself drawn to lovely antique markets, local bazaars, and artists and makers who create remarkable things by hand. It made me think about India, where making things by hand has always been part of everyday life, and how, because we are so used to it, we sometimes forget to truly value the hands behind it.

The Artisans Vault grew from that instinct.

I have always felt that Indian craft deserves a place in the same conversation as the finest design anywhere in the world. The skill has always been there, and some traditions carry hundreds of years of generational knowledge. What changes is the context in which we see them.

I am also an avid collector and, most likely, a borderline hoarder of old things. My collection has slowly become a kind of archive; little reminders of places travelled, things discovered and objects that, for one reason or another, found their way home with me.

The Artisans Vault is my way of sharing that diary.

I invite you to explore The Vault, and perhaps find something that catches your eye, stays with you, and finds its way home.

What We Believe

Beautiful things become more meaningful when we know where they come from, who made them and the stories they carry.

Tradition should evolve rather than stay fixed in time, and centuries-old techniques can find new relevance in the way we live today.

How We Work

We work with artisans and craft clusters across the country to honour their skill, amplify their stories and help their legacy live on. Spending time with people who have given their lives to a craft is one of the greatest privileges of what we do.

Our antique and vintage pieces  are sourced from private collectors and dealers across Europe and Asia.

We are a home grown, independent business, still learning as we go. There is no grand blueprint, just deep curiosity and an ongoing search for things that make us stop and look twice.

We love discovering things that stop us in our tracks, tracing the stories held in the hands that made them, bringing forgotten pieces back into the conversation, and watching them find their way to someone who will cherish them.

Objects with stories, for homes with soul.
