This small, hand-crafted plate features intricate geometric patterns that were carefully carved by hand. Originally used as a mold for traditional Indian sweets, the dough was pressed onto the plate to create designs which are typical to these beloved treats. With use, these plates have developed a weathered look and have roughed around the edges.
It can be used as a paperweight, display on a coffee table or as a base for setting candles.
