This beautifully shaped blue candle holder is made from a discarded "Bijni" which is an agricultural tool used to distribute seeds on farms. Bijnis were widely used by Indian farmers in the 19th century.
This Aryan Vintage Candle Holder features the hand-marked initials "Ka" and "Da" on the reverse side, allowing us to speculate on the possible former owner's name. The practice of initialing items for identification was common, particularly in large joint families living together.
